The colder it is
the less agitated it becomes
until, as on the dark side of the moon,
things get pretty slow and blue.
Frozen in time, you might say.
But move a little closer to the sun
and ‘matter’ begins to bounce and sway.
And, in time, becomes yellow
as the light of day,
and seen from far away.
So whether hot or cold,
it all comes down to this:
You’re either too fast and bright,
or too dim and slow.
Or…somewhere in between.
And that’s where life begins,
as the temperature rises or cools
to a pleasant shade of green.
